They have had their own journeys learning Sikh martial art and later lead Gatka societies in their respective DU colleges.
With Maharaj’s grace they won multiple accolades at Inter-university, State and National level competitions.
Both of them are a member of Delhi Gatka Association and serve as officials in state competitions.

Youth Sangat - Delhi

It is said that the youth is the main agent of change and progress. In the context of the Khalsa Panth, it is of the utmost importance that the Sikh youth chooses its ideals in accordance with the ways and the Rehat laid down by our Gurus and Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji.

One such effort was carried out by the youngsters themselves in the form of Youth Sangat to meet and discuss the guiding principles in the Khalsa way of life.

A Sikh Ideal should have Truth, contentment, contemplation, kindness, compassion, etc, which can only be possible by remembering Naam.

When choosing an ideal, we can only see them through the lens of Sikhi which Maharaj has given to us.

There are innumerable names in the Panth whom we can consider our ideals who have sacrificed their lives for the panth and adhered to the principle of "Panth Vasai Main Ujdaan"

We are looking forward to have such continuous sessions for the Youth.

Mejindarpal Kaur Ji is a human rights lawyer and serves minorities and the underprivileged as the International Legal Director of UNITED SIKHS, a UN associated international NGO. She defends religious freedom for Sikhs globally by advocating for the right to wear the Kakaar (Sikh articles of faith) and against religious discrimination.

Recently, in response to a dire need to uplift the children of land
less farmers in Panjab, she started working on a rural project called PASS ( Punjab After School Study), which serves 2500 government primary school students in 33 villages. This project is run by the SIKH AID FOUNDATION. Bhenji divides her time between Panjab , UK and Malaysia and travels wherever her seva takes her.

We can't wait to have Bhenji's Sangat !! 💎

The practices of the Khalsa panth are different from the world. The customs and traditions of the Khalsa panth are unique and are an example of its own.

What should be the qualities of a Sikh Ideal? What should be the conduct and beliefs of a Sikh Ideal? On what grounds Sikhs should choose their Ideals?
How can you be an Ideal for others?

These are big questions that the panth currently is facing and they needs to be discussed. To find out answers of these, Let us join the Saadh Sangat ; Learn, adapt and evolve individually and as a community.

Youth Sangat is an initiative by the Youngsters for the Youngsters to discuss the challenges and draft the vision for the future of the Panth.

ਸਿੱਖ ਪੰਥ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਹੁ ਰੀਤਾਂ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨਾਲੋ ਵੱਖਰੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਰਾਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਹਨ।

ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਅਜ ਪੰਥ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖੜੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਨੌਜੁਆਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਚਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਵਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਜਾਨਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਆਓ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੁੜੀਏ। ਸਿੱਖੀਏ, ਅਪਣਾਈਏ ਤੇ ਨਿਜ ਤੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਥਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਰੀਏ।
